WE PROTECT THE MARMARA SEA WITH ZERO WASTE BLUE!
DenizTemiz Derneği / TURMEPA aims to leave a livable Marmara Sea for future generations by raising regional awareness through Zero Waste Blue trainings in 7 coastal provinces and 52 coastal districts in the Marmara Region.
Within the scope of the Marmara Sea Zero Waste Blue education project, the importance of the seas, protection of the marine ecosystem and individual responsibilities for sustainable water resources will be explained to students and teachers studying in secondary and high schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education for 5 years. In order to protect the Marmara Sea basin and prevent the pollution that threatens the region, TURMEPA will inform especially students, teachers and the people of the region with a multiplier effect through educational presentations, digital games, short information films and awareness-raising activities specially prepared for the region.
With the "Blue Detective" trainings to be given to high school students, it is aimed that the students who receive this training will initiate Zero Waste Blue transformation in their schools and produce projects for marine pollution.
