Van Lake Basin Protection Action Plan

Within the scope of the Lake Van Basin Protection Action Plan and Implementation Program prepared under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, 8414 students and 1816 teachers were reached between 2021-2023 academic years with Zero Waste and Zero Waste Blue trainings covering 6 districts around Lake Van. Student trainings will continue in the 2023-2024 academic year.
