On the first day of the Blue Breath Project Training Bus in Üsküdar, Üsküdar District Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek and Üsküdar District Director of National Education Sinan Aydın visited and received information about the project from the trainers.
The Blue Breath Project, initiated in cooperation with DenizTemiz Association/ TURMEPA and GarantiBBVA, covering waste surface cleaning in the Sea of Marmara and awareness trainings on sea cleaning in the provinces of the region in order to prevent sea pollution, is spreading.
A total of 260 kg of waste, including 100 kg of metal, 100 kg of plastic, 30 kg of diesel pipes, 20 kg of disposable plastic, and 10 kg of painted boat parts, were collected at the event.
Within the scope of International Coastal Cleaning Day, a coastal cleaning event was organized under the leadership of TURMEPA and IMEAK DTO Kocaeli Branch. In the event, a total of 14 tires and 1500 kilograms of waste were collected from sea and land.
On the International Coastal Cleaning Day, TURMEPA Antalya Branch organized a coast cleaning event at the Konyaaltı beach.
