Within the scope of TUI Juniour Academy Turkey project, Koruya-bilsen art workshop was organized in Fethiye.
TURMEPA, in cooperation with @tuicarefoundation, organized the art workshop "Koruya-bilsen" in Fethiye as part of the "TUI Juniour Academy Turkey" education and awareness project.
On October 7 and 8, 15 teachers from Fethiye who participated in the project worked on sea creatures made of wire at TURMEPA Fethiye under the leadership of Aslı Gökalp, Visual Arts Advisor at Fethiye Science and Art Center. The workshop was organized to draw attention to the importance of seas and marine tourism in Muğla, the tourism paradise of our country, and to protect the marine ecosystem. In the workshop, after introducing sea creatures specific to the Mediterranean and Fethiye region, teachers shaped their own sea creature sculptures in wire cubes. After 2 days of work, the cubes were combined into a single sculpture.
