Zero Waste Blue Turns 7!
Today, we celebrate the 7th anniversary of the Zero Waste Blue journey we embarked on to protect our seas and water resources.
Launched on June 10, 2019, under the auspices of Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, coordinated by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and implemented in cooperation with TURMEPA, the Zero Waste Blue Project set out with the goal of protecting our seas, using natural resources efficiently, and leaving a cleaner environment for future generations.
Since the very first day of the project, TURMEPA has continued its efforts within the scope of Zero Waste Blue, expanding its impact through scientific projects, educational programs, coastal clean-up activities, and awareness-raising initiatives.
Because we know that protecting our seas and water resources is a shared responsibility. Developing environmentally conscious lifestyles and working together to preserve our resources for future generations is of great importance.
For 32 years, we have believed that the most effective way to protect nature and our seas is through the responsible use of resources and the promotion of a culture of conservation. We will continue working together to ensure the sustainability of our seas and water resources.
Zero Waste Blue is not just a project—it is a shared promise to the future.
Where there is a sea, there is life.
