Students who ranked in the Blue STEAM Wave in Beykoz Project received their awards. The award ceremony for the “Blue STEAM Wave in Beykoz” project carried out within the scope of Pratt & Whitney 2023 E-STEM Awards was held at Beykoz BİLSEM.
The award ceremony was organized with the participation of Beykoz District National Education Branch Manager, Pratt & Whitney Turkish Technic Aircraft Engine Maintenance Company, ERTEV, Modern Packaging and BİLSEM officials.
The opening speeches of the ceremony were made by Mine Göknar, Deputy General Manager of TURMEPA; Ayhan Yeşilot, Director of Beykoz BİLSEM and Arya Barak, Beykoz District National Education Branch Manager.
During the one-year project, students from 12 Beykoz public secondary schools were recognized for producing STEAM projects for sustainable seas as a result of marine ecosystem, STEAM and robotic coding trainings.
After the project movie screening and student speeches, the medals and certificates were presented to the students of Kavacık Borsa Istanbul Secondary School, Kemalettin Tuğcu Secondary School and Beykoz Koç Secondary School.
