Oceans and Seas Action Agenda Workshop
On the second day of the “Oceans & Seas Action Agenda” Workshop, organized by the COP31 Türkiye Presidency, important discussions on the future of our seas were held with the participation of Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Burak Demiralp.
As TURMEPA, we also came together with Fatih Turan, Director General of Environmental Management; Vildan Bölükbaşı Atay, Head of the Marine and Coastal Management Department; and Almıla Kından Cebbari, General Manager of TURÇEV. As part of the Marine Litter Initiative Working Group, in which we actively participate, we shared insights on our ongoing efforts and emphasized the importance of collaboration in tackling marine litter.
Through strong cooperation among the public sector, private sector, and civil society, we will continue working together for cleaner seas and a healthier future.
