TURMEPA AND D-MARN COOPERATION IN ITS 8TH YEAR!

I Protect the Seas with STEAM Project Meets with Teachers
 
In the 8th year of the cooperation between DenizTemiz Derneği / TURMEPA and D-Marin, teachers and students will once again meet in the I Protect the Seas with STEAM Project. The 14 teachers from Muğla and Aydın who will participate in the project will learn about the marine ecosystem, the importance of the seas and zero waste through TURMEPA trainings, and will bring solutions and suggestions to protect the seas with STEAM-based projects together with students.
 
I Protect the Seas with STEAM Project, implemented in cooperation with DenizTemiz Derneği/ TURMEPA and D-Marin, is meeting with teachers and students for the 8th year. The 14 teachers from Muğla and Aydın who will participate in the project will be informed about the marine ecosystem, the importance of the seas and zero waste with the trainings to be given by TURMEPA between September 5-9. Teachers and students who will work with Microbit will bring solutions and suggestions on ways to protect the seas with STEAM-based projects. The trainings will be hosted by D-Marin Göcek in cooperation with D-Marin Turgutreis and D-Marin Didim, and will be supported by Muğla Provincial Directorate of National Education and Didim District Directorate of National Education.

Project groups will be established
In addition to marine topics, teachers will receive in-service trainers training by participating in STEAM and coding trainings given by ERTEV experts for 5 days. After these trainings, teachers will establish project groups in their own schools and train their students on the seas and STEAM.
In the project, online teacher and mentor meetings will be organized every month, teachers will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other teachers during the STEAM project development stages and will have the opportunity to improve their projects with the guidance of ERTEV experts, after which student projects will be evaluated in various categories.
